For over 50 years, I have been involved in the art of seeing through a photographer's eyes and capturing the images that I visualize through the viewfinder of my camera. These collections of photographs represent my unique view of the places I have had the opportunity to visit and images of people I have been fortunate enough to capture through my lens.
From my introduction to photography as a student while obtaining a degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design in 1969 to the present, I continue to be devoted to capturing images of my world and my surroundings. I am a very visual person with a love of travel, street photography and capturing images of people in their everyday lives. My ongoing education in the art and science of photography has continued over the years having trained in New York under well known professional photographers and through formal classes presented by the Nikon School of Photography.
I believe that photographs need to speak to the person viewing them just as the image motivated me to click the shutter. Whether it is a landscape, street scene, or an image of a person, there is something about the subject that inspired me to capture the image.
